Her Story:
We met for the first time in the summer of 2001 at a local movie theater. I was meeting a mutual friend to hang out and he brought his best friend, James, along. I was having a bad night and didn’t look very friendly but James decides that he would sit down in the chair besides me anyway. Although he didn’t know me, he proceeds to try to make me laugh. He did whatever it took to to make me crack a smile and change the outlook of my night. My first thought was, “WEIRDO!”, but then I realized that he just wanted to see me happy. Although we lost contact shortly after and didn’t meet again until 2003, it was God’s way of giving us a glimpse of what our future entailed. On January 1, 2005 was when we tied the knot. I knew from that day forward I vowed to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Fast forward to today, he is still my best friend and he is still doing whatever it takes to make me laugh. He has that way with people. Letting them see the more humorous and brighter side of things. I believe that’s what makes him such a great photographer. By the way, I still think he’s a “weirdo” sometimes!

His Story:
Let me take you on a journey to a time and land way back in the pages of history… well, more like 6 years ago… So, we were on our fist date together and after an amazing dinner (she can tell you about that one some other time), we decided to take a late night stroll down by the St Petersburg Pier. As we walked around the the pier, at one point we needed to go through a mini-like tunnel. This is the part that my wife will never let me live down. While walking through the tunnel there was a loud bang and my instincts kicked in and I took off running at full speed (wait for it). As I was bolting to reach the other side, I noticed that Elaine was nowhere near me (keep reading). I turned to see her still far behind me and instead of stopping to wait for her to catch up, (yeah, you’re getting close) I just yelled out “run faster”! It took a while, but she finally caught up! I figured she’s got that Jackie Chan blood in her and she can fend for herself! Sorry sweetie! Everything aside, I knew that from the moment I saw her enter the doorway of our friends’ house 6 years ago that she was going to be my wife one day. She is such an amazing woman, wife, best friend, and business partner and I am so blessed that God allowed me the opportunity to join as one with such an amazing woman. Just meet her once and you’ll know why.
